About me
Srisha Raj is a sophomore at the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in Statistics with a concentration in Public Policy. Passionate about human dignity, she is deeply involved in the Students for Life and Thomistic Institute chapters on campus. Srisha has conducted research at Berkeley Haas on educational programs for Ugandan youth and has taught at low-income public schools in Oakland, promoting student-centered pedagogy in STEM education. During the COVID-19 lockdown, she partnered with Brilliant.org to bring hands-on math curriculum to schools. With over five years of debating experience, Srisha was a 2023 National Finalist in the Great Communicator Debate Series hosted by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation. She advocates for family-choice schooling and engages in discussions on education reform, having interviewed experts like Dr. Bryan Caplan and Prof. Ilya Somin. Srisha also collaborates with local and state governors on legislation addressing topics like occupational licensing and family life education reform. When not advocating for change, Srisha enjoys the Bay Area weather but calls Northern Virginia home.
