About me
Lyn Ulbricht is a political activist and supporter of individual freedom, privacy and criminal justice
reform. She is also the mother and advocate of Ross Ulbricht, who received a double life sentence, with
no parole, for all non-violent charges associated with his role in the Silk Road website. After almost 12
years fighting for Ross’s freedom, Lyn saw President Trump issue her son a full and unconditional
pardon, partially in her honor.
Having had her only son sentenced to die in prison, Lyn is now dedicated to helping the thousands of
others who have been victimized by excessive sentences. To that end, she has launched the nonprofit
Mothers Against Cruel Sentencing (MACS).
