Daniel T. Richards is the Executive Director of the Prometheus Foundation, where he brings decades of experience in marketing, storytelling, and organizational leadership to the cause of promoting Objectivism and individual liberty. A lifelong advocate for human flourishing, Daniel is a co-founder of Return on Ideas, a creative studio and nonprofit accelerator dedicated to advancing liberty through compelling communication and strategic vision.
Prior to joining Prometheus, Daniel served as Vice President of Digital at the Federalist Society, where he led the organization’s content and digital strategy, creating hundreds of videos viewed tens of millions of times. He has also executive produced feature-length documentaries including They Say It Can’t Be Done and Scalia: Portrait of a Man & Jurist, with his latest project—on the impact of Title IX—set for release in 2025.
Building on the legacy of former Prometheus Executive Director Craig Biddle, Daniel is focused on expanding the foundation’s reach, impact, and support for intellectual entrepreneurs who are reshaping the future of liberty and rational thought. With a Master’s degree in Professional Communication from Clemson University, Daniel lives in Dallas with his wife and two children.
